STORY
Following the Omnic Crisis, the government wanted to establish peace and gifted the Australian omnium and surrounding area to the omnics. This forced Mako and many other Outback residents out of their homes, enraging them for their losses. In response, they formed a violent rebellion called the Australian Liberation Front and attacked the omnium to take back their stolen lands. This continued until eventually the rebellion had destroyed the omnium fusion's core which resulted in the facility being destroyed and irradiating the region.
Mako saw his home quickly become an apocalyptic wasteland and was never the same. In order to cope he had to wear a mask, and slowly he lost his humanity while gaining essence of a ruthless killer known only as Roadhog.
HERO OVERVIEW
Role: Tank
Roadhog's arsenal allows him to take a plethora of damage while also dealing a powerful amount of damage. He can destroy smaller targets with a close-ranged shot of his Scrap Gun or bring them closer in range using his Chain Hook. When damaged, he can restore his health and get back into the fight.
ABILITIES
Scrap Gun
A four round shotgun-like burst weapon that can distribute massive short-ranged blasts with a wide spread, or deliver a shrapnel ball that detonates to farther targets.
Take A Breather
When suffering damage, this restores a chunk of health over a brief period of time. Cannot attack while healing.
Chain Hook
Can hurl a long chain to hook targets and bring them into close range to destroy.
Whole Hog
Attaches a top-loader to the scrap gun to relinquish an absurd amount of ammunition in a stream of shrapnel that knocks all enemies back and can destroy smaller targets.
